Nat Metz is a family nurse practitioner who received their Master of Science in Nursing and
Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, KY. They bring healthcare experience from a variety of settings, including hospital-based acute care, oncology, and office-based primary care. Nat is comfortable managing complex chronic conditions and has knowledge and training in myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS), fibromyalgia, long COVID, dysautonomia, mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS), hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (hEDS). Nat continues to pursue educational opportunities that keep them up to date on the newest research and treatment breakthroughs.
Nat has a special interest in this field because their spouse has suffered from many of these illnesses for 10+ years. They understand the frustration of being dismissed by the traditional medical system and strive to make all patients feel seen, heard, validated, and like a partner in care.
